It's hard to find a good quality mattress pad in stores these days. This one is plush, doesn't shrink and wants you to stay in bed. As advertised it's overfilled, just great. It has the Amazon label. That's enough for me. Would buy again!

I was a little worried that I'd feel the stitching, as other reviewers have noted, on this pillowtop but I've had no such problem. I live in a cold area, so I prefer flannel sheets on the bed, and perhaps the thickness of flannel sheets has helped- but I really like this topper. I gave it 4 stars instead of five for one reason: I just bought a brand new Serta Belagio mattress, and I bought this topper to protect the new mattress. I love the topper, but the bed is actually MORE comfortable without it! I was hoping the plush topper would make the bed more comfortable, but no. I'm really just using it to make the mattress last longer now.
I will say, it's a thick mattress and I've had trouble getting sheets to fit on just the mattress let alone the topper as well- but this topper is the perfect size. I had no trouble at all getting it to fit the mattress, and it had plenty of room for an even thicker mattress. This topper is thick and comfortable enough that I could double it up and sleep on the floor on it!

This mattress cover has an OVERSIZED elastic skirt that will cover even the fluffiest, deepest mattresses. Actually, the skirt is so large that it doesn't do too much to hold the cover in place. It is kinda loose fitting. This actually isn't a big deal because my fitted sheet does the job quite well.

Also, one side of this mattress pad is covered in a FABULOUS microfiber that is incredibly cozy. I had the mattress pad laying out to "air-out" before using it and couldn't resist wrapping up in it to read a little. It is about the same thickness and feel as a light or medium weight down comforter. If you use a down comforter, you will know what I mean.

It made a very small difference to the comfort of my bed. I would compare it to a light comforter. It is not a supportive, firm texture like you would get with a memory foam or denser material, but if you are looking for something to give you just a little bit of squish, this is it. I SOOOO wanted this to be thicker and provide more of a barrier between my worn mattress and my back, but this is not it unfortunately.

It IS comfortable - but nothing more than you'd get by putting your comforter on your mattress - under your sheets. Overall, it is great quality and serves a purpose, depending on what you need. I would consider removing the skirt and using it as a light comforter because the microfiber side is fabulous!
