I bought this because I loved the looks. I have several Bialetti products and they make great espresso. However, the first time I used it the finish on the water container bottom scorched into an ugly yellow brown discoloration. Have a Viking range with normal size gas burners. I have been unable to remove the scorching no matter what I try. I think I will try to return it. Be aware.

The design of this charming Bialetti espresso maker is sleek and sculptural. It is truly a piece of art work. The flavour of espresso made by this is as tasteful as its design. Humidity in Northwest Coast, does not really allow the smell and taste of coffee to be revealed, regardless of high quality of selected coffee beans! However, Bialetti is taking care of this problem, providing a flavour and aroma which takes you back to Italy in your fantasy!

There is one more secret to say about making your favourable espresso. In my opinion, using a smaller size of Bialetti like this one is a better choice for making an espresso which you would like to taste.
